Decora S.A. – a leading manufacturer of floor panels, underlays, and skirting boards, operating internationally, known for innovative solutions in the field of flooring and finishing materials.

Project goal

Creating a multilingual dedicated ecommerce platform integrated with the PIM (Product Information Management) system, which presents a rich range of products offered by the Arbiton brand. The site ensures the consistency and timeliness of product information, which facilitates customers' acquaintance with the offer, and includes an online store that enables online ordering.

Creating an advanced online store, as an integral part of the site, which allows intuitive browsing and purchasing of Arbiton products. The store offers:

  • Full integration with the PIM system, ensuring up-to-date updates of product information, including their technical specifications, photographs, descriptions, and availability.
  • Full integration with the SAP system, automating the order processing on the customer side.
  • Advanced filtering and a search engine for products, making it quick to find the right floor panels, underlays, or skirting boards.
  • Detailed product cards, where customers can familiarize themselves with technical parameters and order free samples of vinyl panels.
  • Support for multiple languages and currencies, allowing for international customer service.
  • Fast and secure online payments and integration with key logistic operators to ensure smooth order processing.
  • A section with inspirations and advice, helping customers in choosing the right solution for their interiors.

Challenges related to the project

  1. Professional presentation of products

    UX/UI design, created from scratch along with a dedicated graphic design, emphasizes the high quality of the offered products and facilitates access to key information, such as photographs, descriptions, and technical parameters.

  2. Information availability - responsiveness, clear, readable information

    The site has been adapted to the most popular screen resolutions, browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure convenient access for all users. Additionally, its availability in 16 languages enables reaching an international audience.

  3. Website speed

    Solutions have been implemented that ensure fast website operation, including automatic image compression to the appropriate resolution and .webp format, and optimization for SEO, resulting in a high score in Google Page Speed Insights.

  4. Simple content management

    A dedicated CMS, designed to measure the needs of the client, allows for flexible and simple content management. Each system component can be adjusted to individual requirements, maximizing freedom in website administration.

  5. Flexibility in expansion

    The site was built with future updates and expansion in mind. The dedicated CMS has no limitations known from popular platforms, allowing free development of new functionalities, according to the growing needs of the client.

  6. Listing of products

    The list of products and product view are fully integrated with PIM, allowing the presentation of all necessary information, such as photographs, descriptions, technical parameters, complementary products, and documents for download. The integration ensures real-time data updates, guaranteeing their full timeliness.

  7. Ordering samples

    The site gives customers the opportunity to order free floor samples, allowing them to directly compare colors and textures before making a final purchase decision.

  8. Product comparator

    The comparator function allows customers to compare several products and analyze their technical parameters, supporting the process of making informed decisions. This is crucial for products with complex technical specifications.

  9. Interactive map of stores

    Customers can easily find the nearest sales point for Arbiton products thanks to an interactive map of stores. The tool allows filtering by assortment, checking opening hours, and planning a route.

The Jelly Solutions team developed a detailed map of solutions, covering all challenges and project needs. These proposals were discussed in detail with the client, and thanks to close cooperation, the team was able to implement optimal solutions that met the expectations of the Decora company.
